You can permanently delete your Stillness account and associated personal data. Deletion is irreversible.
1. Delete in the app (recommended)
Use the in-app path (labels match the English UI):
Profile
→ Settings (gear icon)
→ Account
→ Delete Account
- Open Stillness and sign in with the account you want to delete.
- Open the bottom tab Profile.
- Tap the Settings gear icon (top right) to open Settings.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete Account (shown in warning color).
- Confirm in the first dialog, then confirm again in the final dialog.
- If you signed up with email/password, enter your current password when prompted. Google sign-in users only need the two confirmations.
If you have an active Stillness Pro subscription, cancel it in Google Play (or the App Store on iOS) before deleting your account. The app will block deletion while a paid subscription is still active.
2. What we delete
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your profile (display name, email-linked account record)
- Practice logs, session metrics, and archive history
- Daily posts and reactions you published
- In-app preferences (e.g. language, ambient sound)
3. What may be retained briefly
- Backups: Encrypted backups may retain deleted data for a short period (typically up to 30 days) before automatic purge.
- Aggregated/anonymous data: Non-identifying statistics used for reliability may remain.
- Legal & billing records: Information we must keep for tax, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
- Google Play / App Store: Purchase history is held by the store provider, not by Stillness.
4. Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email czfgreat@gmail.com from the address linked to your account. Include your display name and we will verify ownership before processing deletion (usually within 30 days).
