These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Stillness mobile application,
website (stillnessme.com), and related early-access programs (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Stillness.
1. The Service
Stillness provides tools for standing meditation and somatic practice, including:
Guided sessions with preparation, main practice, and wrap-up phases (timers, breathing cues, ambient sound, optional voice prompts).
Optional on-device posture guidance using the camera for eligible sessions (pose analysis runs on your device).
Practice results & archive — scores, insights, and history after sessions.
Daily — an optional community feed where you may publish practice cards and react to others.
Stillness Pro — paid subscription that unlocks longer or premium sessions (availability depends on platform and store listing).
Early Access — waitlist / closed testing sign-up via our website.
Features may vary by platform, region, account status, and product updates. Free sessions such as
short “Office Reset” style practices may be available without Pro; longer sessions may require Pro.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service.
You may sign in with email/password or Google Sign-In (where offered).
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account.
Provide accurate information and keep it updated where relevant.
3. Health & safety (important)
Stillness is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
It is a wellness practice tool. Metrics, posture cues, and insights are for personal reflection only
and are not clinical assessments.
Consult a qualified professional before starting if you have injuries, cardiovascular conditions, pregnancy, dizziness, or other health concerns.
Practice in a safe space. Use a stable phone mount / tripod if following camera-assisted setup guidance.
Stop immediately if you feel pain, numbness, severe dizziness, chest pain, or distress.
After wrap-up, follow common-sense recovery guidance shown in the app (for example avoid cold exposure or intense activity if you feel sensitive).
4. Camera & on-device processing
Some sessions offer posture assistance that may request camera permission.
Pose analysis is designed to run on your device. We do not upload camera video recordings to our servers for storage.
You may deny camera access and still use sessions that do not require posture tracking.
You are responsible for not pointing the camera at people who have not consented to being filmed on your device.
5. Subscriptions (Stillness Pro)
Pro is billed through the platform store (currently Google Play on Android; other stores may be added later).
Prices, free trials, and renewal periods are shown at purchase and controlled by the store.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled in the store account settings before the renewal date.
Refunds are handled under the applicable store’s policies (for example Google Play refund rules).
Entitlements may be managed with partners such as RevenueCat together with the store.
We may change free vs Pro feature boundaries; material changes will be reflected in the app or store listing.
6. User content & Daily
You retain ownership of content you create (for example Daily posts, feelings, insights you author).
By publishing to Daily, you grant Stillness a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content inside the Service to other users.
Do not post unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexual involving minors, spam, misleading health claims, or infringing content.
We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms or harm the community.
Public aliases are for display in Daily; do not impersonate others.
7. Early access / beta
Closed testing or early-access programs may be limited, Android-only at times, and provided “as is”.
Features can change or break. Applying does not guarantee an invite or ongoing access.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service or other users;
Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, data, or systems;
Interfere with servers, networks, or security;
Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
9. Intellectual property
The Stillness name, logos, UI, session structure, audio/visual assets, and software are owned by us or our licensors.
These Terms do not grant you ownership of the Service—only a limited right to use it as allowed.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal data.
Using the Service also means you understand that policy.
11. Account deletion
You may delete your account in Settings (or via the account-deletion instructions we publish).
Deletion removes associated cloud practice logs, Daily posts you authored, and profile data as described in the Privacy Policy, subject to short backup retention.
Cancel active paid subscriptions in the store before deleting your account; deletion does not always cancel store billing by itself.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that posture cues will be accurate in every condition
(lighting, distance, device placement, and body visibility affect results).
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STILLNESS AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT,
INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL,
ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED
TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50,
EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW (FOR EXAMPLE CERTAIN PERSONAL INJURY CLAIMS IN SOME JURISDICTIONS).
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or if we discontinue the product.
You may stop using the Service at any time.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with an updated effective date.
Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Stillness operator is established,
without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence apply.
