This Privacy Policy describes how Aliasgar Vepari ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the biZz'it mobile application ("App") on iOS, Android, or related services.

By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Who we are

The App is provided by Aliasgar Vepari. For privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at privacy@aliasgarvepari.com.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the App and the permissions you grant, we may collect:

• Account information: phone number (used for sign-in via one-time passcode), display name, profile photo, optional business profile details, and status/about text.
• Messages and content: text messages, photos, videos, voice notes, documents, links, and other files you send or receive in chats, groups, broadcast lists, and channels.
• Contacts (optional): if you grant Contacts permission, we access contact names and phone numbers on your device to help you find people who also use the App. We do not upload your full address book to sell or advertise to third parties.
• Usage and device data: online/last-seen indicators, read receipts where enabled, app version, device type, operating system, and push notification tokens (FCM) to deliver notifications.
• Support and safety: reports you submit about other users or content, and information needed to investigate abuse or comply with law.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Create and secure your account (phone verification).
• Deliver messages, media, notifications, and App features (chats, groups, business profiles, catalogs, broadcasts, and channels).
• Show profile information and chat membership to other users you interact with.
• Maintain safety, prevent spam and abuse, and enforce our Terms.
• Improve reliability, fix bugs, and comply with legal obligations.

4. How information is stored and security

Data is stored using Google Firebase services (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Messaging), hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. Message and media content is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS). The App does not provide end-to-end encryption unless we explicitly announce that feature in a future update; we and our infrastructure providers may process message content to operate the service.

You are responsible for keeping your device and phone number secure. Do not share your OTP codes with anyone.

5. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:

• With other users: as part of normal messaging (e.g., your name, photo, messages, and online status to people you chat with).
• With service providers: such as Google (Firebase/Google Cloud) who process data on our behalf under their terms and security measures.
• For legal reasons: if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security of users or the public.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

6. Permissions

The App may request device permissions including:

• Contacts (optional) — find friends on the App.
• Camera and Photo Library — capture or send images and videos.
• Microphone — record voice messages.
• Notifications — alert you to new messages.
• Storage / media access — attach and save files (as required by your device OS).

You can change or revoke permissions in your device settings; some features may not work without them.

7. Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the App, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements. When you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate safety purposes.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

You can update your profile in the App, block or report users, and disable optional permissions on your device. To delete your account, follow the steps on our Account Deletion page or email privacy@aliasgarvepari.com with your registered phone number.

9. Children

The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International users

Your information may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate, including the United Arab Emirates and countries where Google Cloud data centers are located. By using the App, you consent to such transfers subject to applicable law.

11. Third-party links

Messages or profiles may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing personal data.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at the same URL and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised Policy.
