Vendor View — How to Enable

Pay at Pickup

Customers can request Pay at Pickup
Review and approve requests under Orders > Pay at Pickup. Orders that include a CSA or deposit are always paid by credit card.

Customers can use Pay at Pickup only when their order with you is at or below this amount.

Store profile → flip the toggle → set the limit (default $15).

Eligible vendors show a Pay at Pickup button. All other vendors no pay at pickup option provided to the shopper.

My Pay-At-Pickup Enabled Farm switches to Pay at Pickup. Other vendors are unaffected. The Pay button now totals only the card-charged vendors.

4. Shopper View - Checkout Successful Dialog

Order received

My Pay-At-Pickup Enabled Farm reviews each Pay at Pickup request personally, so they'll confirm your order shortly.

We'll email you the moment My Pay-At-Pickup Enabled Farm approves it. You'll find this order in your "Current Orders" list in the meantime.

The dialog lists only the vendors the shopper is awaiting approval from. Card-paid vendors aren't mentioned — their orders go through normally. Returning approved shoppers don't see this dialog at all.

5. Shopper Confirmation Email After Checkout

One email per vendor. Only the Pay-at-Pickup vendor's email gets the amber banner; card-vendor emails look normal. The banner appears only on the first order — subsequent approved orders just show "Payment: Pay at Pickup."

Same new-order email with an Action required block when it's Pay at Pickup.

Approve, reject, or revoke from one place. The pending count updates live.

8. Order Dashboard - Pay at Pickup - Approval Process

Sent only on first approval. Future Pay-at-Pickup orders from this shopper skip the pending dialog and just show "Payment: Pay at Pickup" on a normal order confirmation.

9. Order Dashboard - Pay At Pickup - Revoke Initial Request

The shopper gets one email, their is cart restored and shopper pays by credit card.

Items returned to cart. Shopper completes the transaction by credit card.

10. Pay at Pickup Guard Rails - Spending Cap

$15 per shopper per pickup date — enforced automatically.

Pickup Sat May 16 — Order #1 $10.00 ✓
Pickup Sat May 16 — Order #2 ($10 more) Rejected — combined $20.00 > $15.00
Pay at Pickup limit is $15.00.

Backend totals the shopper's existing pending + submitted Pay at Pickup orders for that pickup date before allowing another.

11. Pay At Pickup Guard Rails - Revoke Shopper Access At Any Time

Revoke Pay at Pickup for Aisha?

She'll no longer see Pay at Pickup at checkout. Existing orders are unaffected.

No email will be sent.

Nothing. Pay at Pickup just doesn't appear at their next checkout.

POTENTIAL NEXT FEATURE
Per-shopper spending limit. Override the farm-wide cap for very trusted shoppers from each row in Orders > Pay at Pickup.
