Welcome to Speech Space, a mobile application operated by Rapid Speech Therapy LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Speech Space mobile application (the “App”).
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information when you use the App:
- User ID: We collect and associate a unique user identifier (User-ID) with your activity in the App. This helps us understand usage patterns across sessions and devices.
- User-Provided Data: Information you voluntarily provide within the App (for example, preferences, settings, progress-related inputs, or other data you choose to enter).
- App Usage & Analytics: We use Google Analytics (and related Google services) to collect app usage data, including screens viewed, features used, session duration, events, and performance metrics. This may include device and app identifiers.
- Granular Location Data: We may collect precise or approximate location information derived from your device (such as GPS, IP address, or network-based location) to support analytics, personalization, and relevant features.
- Device Data: Information about your device, including device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, app version, language settings, and similar technical data.
- Purchase Information: Purchases are processed through RevenueCat. We receive limited information such as subscription status, purchase history summary, and anonymized analytics (e.g., number of transactions and revenue). We do not receive your full payment details.
- Local Data: The App may store user preferences and cache images locally on your device to improve performance. Some of this data remains on your device; other data may be transmitted to our service providers as described below.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect or store:
- Full payment card or banking details (handled by the app stores and RevenueCat)
- Contacts or address book access
- Camera or photo gallery access beyond what is needed for local image caching or features you explicitly use
- Biometric data
3. How We Use the Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the App and its features
- Process and manage your purchases and subscriptions via RevenueCat
- Analyze usage and performance through Google Analytics to understand how the App is used and to improve stability and user experience
- Support ads personalization so that advertising (where shown) can be more relevant to your interests
- Enable advanced audience settings and measurement for analytics and advertising partners (including audience insights and remarketing where applicable)
- Personalize content and features based on usage patterns and preferences
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information in the traditional sense. We may share limited data with the following categories of recipients:
- RevenueCat – to handle in-app purchases and subscriptions
- Google (including Google Analytics, Google Firebase, and related advertising/measurement services) – for analytics, performance monitoring, User-ID association, audience measurement, and ads personalization
- Other service providers who assist us in operating the App, under contractual obligations to protect your data
- Legal authorities when required by law
Google may use the data it receives in accordance with its own privacy policies. You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
5. Ads Personalization and Audience Features
We use Google services that support ads personalization and advanced audience settings. This means:
- Data about your App usage, device, and (where collected) location may be used to help show more relevant ads and to measure ad performance.
- Audience features may be used to understand groups of users and to support remarketing or similar advertising capabilities.
- You may be able to manage certain advertising preferences through your device settings (for example, limiting ad tracking on iOS or opting out of personalized ads on Android) and through Google’s ad settings.
6. Data Storage and Security
Data collected through Google Analytics and related services is processed and stored by Google in accordance with Google’s infrastructure and policies. We do not operate traditional servers that store comprehensive user profiles. Local data on your device (preferences and cached content) remains under your control. We take reasonable measures to protect information in transit and in our control, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
8. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the following rights regarding their personal information:
- Right to know what personal information we have collected
- Right to delete personal information
- Right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information (including for cross-context behavioral advertising, where applicable)
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information
To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information in the “Contact Us” section below. Because certain data is processed by Google and other service providers, some requests may need to be coordinated with those providers. We do not knowingly sell the personal information of minors under 16.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy in the App and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
