Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 20, 2026

Global Vision Menu ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Oceania Prayer App mobile application (the "Service").

This Privacy Policy explains how our Service handles your information, including the collection, use, retention, and deletion of data when you use the Oceania Prayer App.

Summary: Oceania Prayer App does not require account creation and does not collect, store, or retain personal identifiable information (such as your name, email, or phone number) on our servers. All prayer history tracking is stored locally on your device.

1. Information Collection and Use

We do not collect personal data from you to use the Oceania Prayer App.

Personal Data

We do not require users to create an account or provide personal information such as name, email address, physical address, or phone number. We do not collect or store any personal identifiable information (PII) on our servers.

Local Device Storage

When you interact with the app (for example, clicking the "I prayed" button), this state is stored strictly locally on your device using local storage (Preferences) so the app remembers your prayer history on that device. This data is not linked to your personal identity and remains stored locally on your device.

Aggregated Prayer Count

When you click "I prayed", the app increments an anonymous aggregate prayer counter in Firebase Firestore (e.g. "+1 person prayed"). No personal user identifiers, names, or accounts are recorded or transmitted as part of this action.

Usage Data and Analytics

When you access the Service via a mobile device, certain technical information may be collected automatically by third-party analytics services (Firebase / Google Analytics) to help us monitor app stability and performance. This data may include anonymous device identifiers, operating system version, device model, and diagnostic/crash data.

2. Data Retention Policy

We are committed to clear and transparent data retention practices:

3. Data Deletion and User Rights (Data Deletion Process)

We respect your rights regarding your data and provide simple methods for deleting any information:

How to Delete Locally Stored Data

Since all your user preferences and prayer interaction records are stored locally on your device, you can delete this data at any time without needing our assistance:

  1. Clear App Data: Go to your device's Settings > Apps > Oceania Prayer App > Storage, and select "Clear Data" or "Clear Storage". This will permanently delete all locally saved preferences.
  2. Uninstall the App: Uninstalling the Oceania Prayer App from your device immediately removes all locally stored data and files associated with the app.

Submitting a Data Deletion Request

Because we do not store personal information or maintain user accounts on our servers, there is generally no server-side personal data to delete. However, if you have contacted us via email and wish to request the deletion of your correspondence or any data you may have provided to us, you can submit a deletion request:

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service:

5. Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us. Although no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, we implement standard industry practices and rely on secure cloud infrastructure provided by Google Firebase to protect any data processed by the Service.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Service is designed for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16/18 where applicable by law). If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can immediately delete such information.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
