The MSI VehicleManager Mobile app works only with the Vigilant Solutions subscription to the Vigilant Vehicle Manager or Client Portal hosted services or L6 Camera products or any other Motorola Solutions products and services used by our customers with such products or services. We process personal data through the MSI VehicleManager Mobile app and related products and services in accordance with the MSI Privacy Statement.
Data protection laws sometimes differentiate between "controllers" and "processors" of personal data, or "businesses" and "service providers." A "controller" or "business" determines the purposes and means (the why and how) of processing personal data. A "processor," which is sometimes referred to as a "service provider," processes personal data on behalf of a controller subject to the controller's instructions. This Privacy Statement describes our privacy practices solely where we are acting as the controller of personal data and does not cover or address how we may process personal data on our customers' behalf in accordance with their instructions where we are acting as their processor.

Please note our customers may access personal data processed by the products and services issued to their particular users (such as personal data processed by our MSI VehicleManager Mobile app issued to a customer's particular users or through the Vigilant Vehicle Manager and Vigilant Client Portal and L6 Camera products). Our customers are responsible for determining how they will process their users' personal data and for providing notice and taking any other legal steps with regard to the collection and processing of such information. The MSI VehicleManager Mobile app requests access to and collects your location data strictly when the application is open and in active use on your screen (Foreground Location).
