Curriculum Requirements:
Students of the Master of Science (MS) in Robotic Medicine Degree program must
complete 9 courses (4 credits each) for a minimum of 36 hours of graduate coursework.
In addition, students must complete a Master Thesis (4 credits) and a Master Thesis
Seminar (2 credits) for a total of 42 credit hours.
The academic year will be based on quarters. Fall (beginning in September), Winter
(beginning in January), and Spring (beginning in March). Each quarter is 10 weeks in
length. All courses will be taught online.
Students in the Masters of Science (MS) in Robotic Medicine program will benefit from
the teaching and research expertise of established scholars and practitioners.
Master Thesis:
● Master Thesis: The ability to conduct independent work on a topic in Robotic
Medicine, deepening the above-mentioned skill, and to write a report that
describes the work in detail. The choice of project topic and exact form will be
mutually determined by you and your instructor. A written paper based on the
applied project is required and must contain project description, analysis, and
interpretation of findings.
Admission to Graduate Standing - Conditionally Classified
● It may be possible for applicants who have minimal deficiencies in the
prerequisite requirements detailed above, but who are otherwise highly qualified,
to be admitted with conditionally classified graduate standing. Provisions must be
made for removal of deficiencies prior to the granting of classified standing. For
further information, consult the graduate program adviser.
Admission Requirements
Students must meet the Michael University’s requirements for admission to a Master
Degree program.
● Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, Technology, Engineering, or related area.
● A sample of scholarly writing, in English. This can be anything you have written
but should give an accurate indication of your writing abilities. The writing sample
can be a term paper, research report, journal article, published paper, college
paper, etc.
● Submission of college transcripts of all course work.
● Copies of certificates or licenses, if applicable.
