Curriculum Requirements:
Students of the Master of Science (MS) in Artificial Intelligence Degree program must
complete 10 courses (4 credits each) for a minimum of 40 hours of graduate
coursework. In addition, students must complete a Research Paper (3 credits) for a
total of 43 credit hours.
● The academic year will be based on quarters. Fall (beginning in September),
Winter (beginning in January), and Spring (beginning in March). Each quarter
is 10 weeks in length. All courses will be taught online.
● Students in the Masters of Science (MS) in Artificial Intelligence program will
benefit from the teaching and research expertise of established scholars and
practitioners.
Research Paper:
● Research Paper: The culminating project will be writing a research paper on a topic
in Artificial Intelligence. The goal of a research paper is to bring together different
views, evidence, and facts about a topic from books, articles, and interviews, then
interpret the information into your writing. The choice of project topic and exact form
will be mutually determined by you and your instructor. The written project will follow
the American Psychological Association (APA) Style Format. Your instructor will
provide guidelines, resources, and assessment rubric in the course syllabus.
Admission to Graduate Standing - Conditionally Classified
● It may be possible for applicants who have minimal deficiencies in the
prerequisite requirements detailed above, but who are otherwise highly qualified,
to be admitted with conditionally classified graduate standing. Provisions must be
made for removal of deficiencies prior to the granting of classified standing. For
further information, consult the graduate program adviser.
Admission Requirements
Students must meet the Michael University’s requirements for admission to a Master
Degree program.
● Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, Technology, Engineering, or related area.
● A sample of scholarly writing, in English. This can be anything you have written
but should give an accurate indication of your writing abilities. The writing sample
