University had to design customised programmes.
On November 4th and 5th, 1999, Michael University conducted a TRUST
LITIGATION WORKSHOP for the Supreme Court Judges in the Bahamas, including
the Chief Justice of The Bahamas. This workshop was facilitated by Professor David
Hayton, MA, LLB, LLD, Barrister & Recorder at King’s College – University of London,
UK.
Also, on March 30th and 31st, 2000, Michael University conducted an
INSOLVENCY WORKSHOP for the Supreme Court Judges in the Bahamas. This
workshop was facilitated by Professor Harry Rajak, Dean and Professor of Law at the
University of Sussex, UK and the Director of Insolvency Division at the University of
Sussex.

, 2000, The Rt. Hon. Lord Woolf, Chief Justice of England and
Wales addressed Michael University's students and distinguished guests on the topic
“The Additional Responsibilities of the Judiciary in the 21
st
Centenary”.
Michael University has trained a number of international students locally in its
degree programmes, including students from St. Lucia, Trinidad & Tobago, China and
Germany.
