The Executive Property Summary

Dear {{contact.first_name}}

This year was tough, real tough.

It was historic in many ways internationally.

Reality on the ground for many, was one of weathering the significant economic and political storms.

The world is changing, and change is hard to keep up with sometimes, when a decade of change happens in a single year. That was 2025.

As we end the year exhausted, the good news is there is a rainbow in sight as the dark clouds are clearing for South Africa.

Listen carefully past the news, and you will realise South Africa is heating up and people are sleeping on it.

If you are offshore and have ever thought about coming back or rebuilding here, the last few months have shown that momentum is shifting.

Credit rating got upgraded for the first time in nearly two decades. That alone tells you big money is starting to trust SA again.

The Economy is lifting with a 0.8 percent growth in quarter two. Not fireworks, but it is real movement in the right direction.

Global tech players are planting roots and Visa opened their first African data centre in Joburg.

Companies won’t make a move like this in a country that’s going backwards.

Billions are flowing into infrastructure and green energy.

World Bank money. EU money. Huge projects are coming with a massive knock-on for suppliers and B2B operators.

Analysts are shifting their tone. Moody’s, GCR, Goldman Sachs, they are all talking about improvement and not decline.

Look, SA is not perfect. It will frustrate you. It will test you. It will harden you in a way few other places can.

But SA is waking up and the upside is starting to grow again.

People are flocking back. They miss the "lekkerness", the kindness and warmth of our rainbow nation.

Opportunities will be there for people who move early, not for those waiting for perfection.

We have been growing and putting down deep roots this year, as we look forward with excitement to the opportunities to serve and grow together in 2026.

To end the year on a high, we are proud to share some amazing feedback we got from clients this year.

Thank you to every client, every colleague and every amazing member of our Grove family.

We appreciate every one of you and wish you a blessed and restful Festive Season, Christmas and New Year.

Enjoy the time of rest, you earned it!

Yours in Property
