What are your plans for 2024?

The Executive Property Summary

From the world of Grove to you

Dear {{contact.first_name}}

What are your property plans for 2024?

Welcome to our first Executive property summary for 2024!

After a long holiday we are all rested and ready to tackle the year and bounce back after a tough 2023 to make 2024 a great year!

What better way to start the year than winning yet another World Championship!

A massive congratulations to Dricus Du Plessis for becoming the UFC Middleweight champion and first South Africa UFC Champ ever!  We are so proud of you

Back to property then:

You might be thinking... what will the property market look like this year?

I could tell you the property market is usually stagnant in an election year.  With the most elections happening globally this year in modern history, that would be a good place to start.

The reality is the global economy is slowing and ours is no different. Global trends of high interest rates and high cost of living will likely taper slightly, but persist.

Some property owners, drowning in debt, will be forced to sell as a result.

Others will be looking to grow their portfolio.

The reality is property, while being effected by macro economic factors, is also very much a local market.

The question should not only be, what is the market going to do? But what are YOU planning to do in 2024?

Chairman's Report

This past week was my 40th birthday!

The start of a new era many say... when time catches up to you and life starts to slow down somewhat.

The start of the back 9, if life were a golf game.

I was showered with congratulations and would like to say thank you to everyone for all your messages and calls. You made me feel truly special.

I celebrated with my beloved family and many close friends from all chapters of my life.  It was such a privilege to have so much love in one room.

To realize how my life has touched so many others and how they have touched and shaped mine...

It got me thinking about the past 40 years of my life.  What it meant and why I have the life I have.

About how blessed I am for the parents I had, the foundations of hard work, family, education, love and values that were instilled in me.

The choices made, lessons learnt, people I met, chances I took and experience gained.

While also thinking about the next 40 years (God willing) of my life and what they will look like.

What will the next chapter of my life look like?

I have realized more than ever that life is all about connection and impact. As we move through life we are on a path to becoming a certain version of ourselves.

To build a life we dream of and hopefully to make a meaningful mark on others and the world.

Who we spend that time with, listen to, learn from and strive to emulate will shape the choices we make and the direction we take.

I have decided that this year we'll aim to refocus on building more meaningful connections, from a place of peace.

To make time for people and their needs & not get caught up by the noise of this world and pressures of this life.

To have the conversations that matter; about life, love, family and yes, business and finances.

To share our knowledge and experience about property freely and often to enable and empower others to make the right decisions in our existing relationships, within our families and with our friends, colleagues and clients.

I would like to invite you to reach out to us as a company and to me personally.  Feel free to talk to us, ask questions, engage with us, message us and be part of our story in whatever way suits you.

As we continue to walk this blessed road together to re-imagine our industry, our lives and our world by putting people first, in all things.

Yours in property.
