As winter casts its final shadow we have the privilege of celebrating all the wonderful women in our world this August.
Boy! Do we have much to be thankful for in the property industry.
As a husband and father to 2 young girls I am very aware of the crucial role women play in our society and lives, even our dog is a girl!
As a broader society, women still face very real challenges every day. Especially considering the social and economic challenges, crime and gender-based violence highlighted in recent years.
In an industry where women, and often single or divorced women, play a major role, we are in the unique position to set an example of how a fair and equitable business environment can and will deliver the best outcomes for all participants.
We should all continue to work diligently towards continuing to build an ethical, knowledgeable and professional property industry.
An industry accessible to all those who are willing to do the work to develop themselves, serve their communities and invest in themselves and others with a view to making a positive long-term contribution.
Those willing to put in the work that it takes to be successful in this industry, day after day, week after week, month after month and year after year can, and do, reap wonderful rewards.
Women like Nozuko Zitoti play an important role in showing the youth if South Africa that honesty and diligence does pay.
Proving that it is possible to work yourself up from the bottom and build a wonderful life for your family in this industry.
Igniting the flames of hope in others, while overcoming structural limitations to access through better systems and training.
We are proud to be playing our part and I look forward to sharing more of what we have in store in the months ahead.
