Taste for Equity 2025: A Night to Remember

Taste for Equity 2025 was truly special. Chef Kiara had the honor of leading some of Portland’s most talented chefs to create a seven-item, family-style dining experience for more than 500 food lovers and passionate supporters of the culinary arts.

More than a gala, Taste for Equity is a powerful catalyst for change. It is a space where meaningful relationships are built, BIPOC and queer entrepreneurs are uplifted, and renewed commitments to equity and justice take root. The evening beautifully balanced celebration with purpose, reminding us that community-powered action begins when people come together with intention. This year’s event raised critical funds for local organizations doing meaningful work in our community, specifically benefiting Adelante Mujeres, APANO, and ELSO, Inc., organizations that continue to advocate for equity, opportunity, and collective progress.

Kicking Off Excellence at the 42nd Annual National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals Conference

We were honored to partner with the National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals (NCBMP) as they kicked off their 42nd Annual Conference with a welcome reception hosted at the Porsche Studios. Kitchen Killa Culinary Solutions proudly catered this opening gathering, setting the tone for a powerful four-day conference rooted in connection, leadership, and excellence.

The Children’s Institute hosted an inspiring event dedicated to celebrating the partnerships and progress taking place in schools across Oregon. From preschool through early elementary, their work alongside schools and districts continues to strengthen foundations for children while uplifting the educators who make it all possible.

Kitchen Killa Culinary Solutions curated a private home brunch for the Portland Links, centered on comfort, flavor, and togetherness. The setting provided the perfect backdrop for a thoughtfully crafted menu designed to nourish both body and spirit.
