1 Empowering Question Stack, 1 Mind-Bending, Bumper-Sticker Quote, & 1 Concept to Consider this Week

The 3-ONE: Consistency Compounded, A Storm’s Purpose, & The Enemy of Momentum

June 24th, 2025 | www.NSCcoaching.com

My observations from over 50 powerful conversations this week with elite CEOs, from a variety of industries, across the Nation that are experiencing tremendous growth in THIS market…

We've distilled the most impactful conversations to share one empowering question stack, one mind-bending bumper-sticker quote, and one concept to challenge your status quo this week.

An Empowering Question Stack to Consider

Think of consistency like compound interest: small, regular deposits may seem insignificant day-to-day, but over time, they generate exponential returns. Similarly, showing up—again and again—builds momentum, trust, and results that no burst of intensity can match.

If someone observed my actions for a month, what would they say I’m truly committed to—based on what I show up for, day after day? Where in my life or leadership am I relying on bursts of effort instead of steady, daily action? Can I recall a time when simply showing up—despite doubt or fatigue—led to an unexpected breakthrough? What small habit, if performed consistently for the next year, would have the biggest impact on my results? What routines or systems can I put in place to make showing up easier, even on hard days?

A Mind-Bending, Bumper-Sticker Quote to Consider

“Every storm has two purposes: destroy what isn’t solid… and reveal what is.”

A Concept to Challenge Your Status Quo

Take action, an inch of movement will bring you closer to your goals than a mile of intention.” - Steve Maraboli

Let’s be honest: Every CEO has faced it—the moment when a bold idea collides with a thousand reasons to hesitate. I’ve been there myself, staring at a blank page, convinced that one more hour of planning would yield the perfect strategy. But the longer I waited, the more my mind filled with doubts, and the further away progress seemed.

Overthinking is seductive. It masquerades as diligence, but in reality, it’s the enemy of momentum.

Picture a race car at the starting line, engine humming, driver’s foot hovering over the gas. The crowd waits. The longer the hesitation, the colder the tires get, the more restless the crowd gets, the more anxiety builds—and the harder it is to win. In business, every moment spent second-guessing is a moment lost to competitors who are already moving.

Performance Maximization: Action Breeds Clarity

  • Steve Jobs didn’t wait for perfect conditions when he returned to Apple; he acted fast, setting the company on a path to dominance.

  • Richard Branson, after Virgin Galactic’s crash, didn’t retreat into analysis—he showed up, led from the front, and set a new course.

The lesson? Action creates momentum. Momentum creates results. Your doubts build mountains; your actions move them.

Once you are resolute on the goal and values you prescribe to:

  • Set a 10-minute timer to explore all the options at your disposal and choose the ONE that will make the greatest impact with the least effort. (Effort defined as time and money).

  • Model decisiveness: Show your team that speed matters. Momentum is contagious. Take the first step on that project you’ve been overthinking. Don’t plan—just do. Do it within 1 hour of making that decision. (The first step, often times, is to delete, defer, or delegate things previously committed to that aren’t in alignment with the ultimate objective.)

  • Embrace imperfection: Progress, not perfection, is the hallmark of elite leadership.

  • Reflect on the actions and make minor course corrections (decisions) to improve your approach. When done swiftly these small decisions done in succession create the illusion that you’re making great widespread decisions that will serve you well in your plight for influence as you lead your team.

Share this with your leadership team.

Challenge them: What have you been overthinking? What’s the smallest action you can take right now?

Greatness isn’t found in endless planning. It’s built in the doing. Forward this to a leader who needs a nudge—because the only way to win is to start moving.
