March is a time to recognize the women who have shaped history, and the women who are shaping it now.

Across classrooms, campuses, and communities, women continue to lead, persist, and pursue education with courage and determination. For many, the journey hasn’t always been easy. It has required resilience, support, and the willingness to keep moving forward even when the path wasn’t clear.

At FocusQuest, we believe that supporting women in education means more than celebrating achievement. It means creating environments where women feel seen, valued, and empowered to grow, academically and personally.

This month, we honor the legacy of women who opened doors, and we stand alongside the women continuing to walk through them.

We had the privilege of working with 101 scholars at the HBCU Early College Prep High School in Queens, New York.

What began as a conversation about assumptions quickly evolved into something deeper. Students challenged one another to pause before labeling people, ask questions, and look for connections. In those moments of curiosity and honest dialogue, something powerful emerged: understanding.
