We're proud to announce our collaboration with Barber-Scotia College, where students can now access career-aligned Healthcare and IT certifications through MedCerts. Our Student Success Coaches, led by Dr. Ndala Booker, guide learners from enrollment through completion, bridging the gap between learning and employment.

Equally transformative is our partnership with the HBCU Early College Prep High School in Queens—NYC's first HBCU-modeled public high school. As this groundbreaking institution opens September 4th, FocusQuest will support students who can earn both a high school diploma and Associate's degree at no cost. Founded by Dr. Asya Johnson, this school represents what happens when HBCU excellence meets innovative educational design.

FocusQuest is excited to announce a new partnership with Barber-Scotia College to bring students career-aligned online certifications in Healthcare and IT through the MedCerts platform.

This collaboration opens doors for students to gain in-demand, industry-recognized certifications designed to prepare them for high-growth careers. FocusQuest will lead the outreach and marketing efforts, ensuring students have the resources and guidance they need to explore these opportunities and take the next step toward their future.

Surgical Technologists prepare operating rooms, arrange equipment, and assist doctors throughout surgeries. They interact with patients before, during, and after procedures—preparing the operating room, readying patients, passing instruments to surgeons, maintaining a sterile environment, and supporting post-surgery care like dressing incisions, patient transport, and restocking supplies.
