It's February, Black History Month, and our world transforms through new policies and potential Executive Orders. Educational funding faces threats, and pathways to higher knowledge encounter fresh barriers. We must build, find, and leverage our resources and technology to achieve our dreams. The challenges deepen and the walls rise higher, but WE stand stronger and taller than any obstacle.
Let's remember our history and draw strength from being the children of Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr, WEB DuBois, the founders of the NAACP, the Tuskegee Airmen, and little Linda Brown - the third grader in Kansas who fought desegregation, leading to Brown vs. Board of Education.
We will continue to find ways to advance, we will continue to fight, and we will continue to learn. Our ancestors faced seemingly insurmountable barriers, yet they persevered and prevailed. Today, we carry their resilience in our DNA. With determination, innovation, and unwavering spirit, we'll not only overcome these challenges but use them as steppingstones to even greater achievements. The future belongs to those who refuse to be limited by present circumstances.
