Meet Tyson, your new wingman
Want to make friends wherever you go? Make this guy your BFF.
Born Jan. 6, Tyson is a 10-month-old hound who has never met a stranger. Friends describe him as spunky, fun and outgoing.
He loves attention, adores kids – oh, and did we mention he’s great at parties? Shortly after coming to the NKC Animal shelter, the “Ty Man” made his debut at North Kansas City’s Briar Fest, escorted by two of NKC’s finest. The police officers said he loved meeting everyone and was quite a social butterfly.
But if there’s one thing Tyson loves more than people, it’s food. The guy is nuts for it. And why not? He’s a growing boy. He weighs 60 pounds and will probably gain a bit more before he reaches adulthood. Being food-motivated can make training easier, and he is at the perfect age to start learning.
Tyson was surrendered to the shelter this past September at no fault of his own. Sadly, his owners found a new place to live that did not allow fur babies.
But Ty doesn’t let that get him down. He’s an optimist, always believing the bowl is half full. He knows his BFF is out there – and he’s ready to go.
Tyson is neutered and up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $105.
