REDTAIL NEWS

Welcome to our August 2026 issue of Redtail in Motion!

It’s been an interesting month for Redtail, as we had some unexpected health and business disruptions that put a little crimp in our style. We have overcome the issues and are back on track!

Below you will find new Innovation Insights podcasts, our August webinar with Andy Murphy, and some interesting articles about M&A and value creation. Jay appeared as a panelist for VC Fast Pitch in August, reviewing six worthy startups. He also participated on a panel for SuperCrowd26, discussing what actually scales and what doesn't. We looked at why some companies achieve scale and others stagnate and some of the factors behind each.

We had planned the commercial launch of Investment Lens in August, but the launch has been delayed until early September. We also plan to launch our EVCR offerings this coming month as well.

PORTFOLIO NEWS

Burble Neuro has successfully completed several pilots with very good feedback and results. The feedback is currently being incorporated into the final app development, which will be released for commercial use in the very near future. The company is also in discussions with several beta testers about moving to revenue producing licensing agreements. Stay tuned, as we expect to begin announcing revenues soon!

OK Stone is producing 3D printed stone products from their 170,000 sq ft production facility and has over 500 SKUs available on the market today, projecting revenues of $30M to $50M this year. Traditional quartz countertop fabrication produces dust containing crystalline silica. When inhaled, this dust causes silicosis, an incurable and fatal lung disease. OK Stone’s Bioquartz technology uses an amorphous (non-crystalline) structure and is completely safe for the workers. Also, the Bioquartz production process can recycle the sludges and residual mixtures from stone plants, feeding them back into the melting furnaces as a raw material. This promotes a circular business model and minimizes industrial landfill waste.

Vessl Prosthetics was recently featured on a news broadcast, discussing the benefits their technology brings to amputees. Vessl is currently producing revenue and has signed distribution contracts with leading distributors of prosthetic devices.
