WELCOME TO PERFORMANCE TEAMS FOR 2025!

Hi Performance Team Families,

We are SO excited for this year competition season with all our amazing teams! Our new routines are already looking great so we can't wait to keep working on those throughout this term.

To get you set for the competition year and cover off EVERYTHING you need to know in regards to comp teams for your dancers, please view our Performance Teams Info Site by clicking the button below. We have added our 2025 proposed competition dates to the site below.

This site will be regularly updated with dates, comp info and has the Performance Teams Handbook that includes all information regarding:

Please save this website so you can refer back to it throughout the year. It will always be linked on our APA app and also in our Band description for easy access. Your dancer will also come home with a handy fridge magnet in the next couple of weeks that you can scan so you always have easy access to the information!

SAVE THE DATES FOR EXTRA/DRESS REHEARSALS

• Sunday 11 May: Please save this date for extra rehearsals. This is so our routines are looking stage ready and we can focus on final touches in the lead up to our competitions kicking off in Week 5. Schedule for this day still being finalised, will send out ASAP.

• Saturday 17 May: Dress Rehearsal evening. Similar to 2024 we will be holding an in studio dress rehearsal prior to our first competition. This is where can come along, relax with some cheese & wine and enjoy watching our 2025 routines. Schedule to be finalised but it will be held in the evening at the studio.

TEAM COMMUNICATION

All Performance Team Communication will be handled via BAND app and via email. Band allows you the opportunity to discuss Performance Team related matters with the team, and where required you can have a private message chat with the teacher if it is a matter that cannot be discussed in the class forum.

From our experience we have found this to be the best communication platform as it allows an inclusive space for all, especially those parents who choose not to use social media, and as a result we discourage the use of private messaging "Performance Team" groups on social media for this reason. In line with our social media policy we also discourage parents/students from becoming ‘friends’ or ‘followers’ on Social Media with teachers or staff unless there is an existing relationship. We ask that in regards to all Comp Team related communication you please join BAND-APP.
