Hey {{contact.first_name}},

So sorry about the email I sent yesterday! I am in the process of switching email platforms and systems got confused. I hope you'll forgive me for being in your inbox twice this week. Especially after not being around for so long. I had someone immediately unsubscribe yesterday, not even seconds after the accidental email went out. Sending a peace pigeon his way.

Anywhoo...

It's been a while, hasn't it? You might be wondering, "Where is Anitra?" Well, let's catch up!

I've been in full momma mode! Rob and I have been working together to homeschool our two amazing daughters with the incredible support of Nanna and Aunt Martha. With Harley, we've been having a blast introducing her to reading through sentence-building games, word matching, and sound identification. Math has become a fun adventure too! We've created a problem-solving board using Cheerios for simple addition and subtraction—though now she insists on snacking during math time! 😂 Her boundless energy has us spending as much time outdoors as possible, building play areas and soaking up the summer sun.

As we transition into fall and back-to-school season, I've found some fantastic back-to-school crafts and fall activities to keep the kids engaged and creative. I'm excited to do some of these activities! I know they will be a lifesaver in keeping our days fun and educational!

On the music front, I'm thrilled to give you a sneak peek into my album Work in Progress. One of the songs I've been working on has taken on new life with the addition of a bassist, adding depth and grounding that I'm really excited about.

Listen here and let me know what you think! If you're feeling generous and would like to support this journey, there's an option to join the fundraiser.

Navigating life's changes has been quite the journey. As I embrace my 40s, I've been experiencing what feels like perimenopause. These hormonal shifts have encouraged me to be more intentional about supporting my body—getting better sleep, eating healthier, and practicing mindfulness. Growing up, my mother always embraced aging as a beautiful journey, and I'm grateful for her wisdom.

However, as I delve deeper into understanding menopause, it's become clear that many women find themselves in the dark due to a lack of information and tradition passed down from previous generations. This isn't just about menopause; there's a significant gap in how we come together as women to teach and support each other through these life chapters.

Recognizing this need has inspired me to create a space where women can unite in community—to share experiences, learn from one another, and navigate these transitions together with grace and strength.

Would You Like to Practice Faith With Me?

For this reason, I was inspired to create a space where women gather to be nourished spiritually, emotionally, and practically. Our first adventure is an enriching exploration into Proverbs 31. Over the coming months, we'll delve into what it means to be a virtuous woman and how to embody these virtues in our daily lives.

I'm excited to invite you to join us for the premiere of the Proverbs 31 series on YouTube! In the first episode, we will explore Proverbs 31:10—"You are more precious than rubies." This engaging discussion begins on Monday, September 22 at 9 PM CST. We'll have a live chat where we can connect and share insights about this empowering topic. Join here or get on my alerts list and I'll text you a reminder when it goes live.

And mark your calendars—I have a show coming up this week in Eureka! 🎤 Rob and I will be sharing tunes at Railway Winery on Friday, September 12 from 5 to 7pm. The address is 4937 State Hwy 187, Eureka Springs, AR 72631. If you are in town come by and groove with us!

Thank you for being part of my world. Your support means everything!

Keep Rocking It,

Anitra Jay
