One of my favorite quotes—one that has carried me through some of the toughest times in my life—is this:
"If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got." — Henry Ford
This quote is everything.
When life feels impossible, change your tactic. When you’re stuck in a rut, break the damn cycle. When people continuously treat you poorly—whether at work, in friendships, or even within your family—walk away with your head high and your dignity intact.
We cannot keep doing the same things over and over and expect different results. That’s not growth—that’s insanity.
Unless you’re in prison (and if you are, well, different conversation), you have free will. You can change your circumstances. And more than that—YOU are the only one who can.
The moment you take your power back and own the fact that you are the conductor of your own train, something shifts. Suddenly, the things and people that once had control over you? They lose their grip.
Because when you stand firmly in your own power, no one—not your boss, not your family, not the voice in your own head—can take it from you.
