Feasgar math {{contact.first_name}} It’s been a while since I last landed in your inbox. I’ve just come home from a month overseas and it's flow by! A week with 80 global entrepreneurs at the Edge Mastermind in USA talking mindset, strategy, growth and of course, AI (more on that later). I also took some precious time to pause with my family who I haven't seen in 2 years - this was exactly the 'fuel' I needed before I head into a busy and exciting period with Turas.

This space reminded me of something simple but powerful: Even the strongest leaders need space before they need strategy. Without this time to take some headspace and create greater clarity, even the strongest strategy has the potential to go off track. So what helps you create this critical space? Resilience. Resilience isn’t born, it's built. It's not a personality trait you have or you don't. It’s a practice you can learn and home — one that begins the moment you slow down and reconnect. Easier said than done in the busy world we live in yet I know from my own experience, it's so important for us as leaders and entrepreneurs. It's an area I'm really passionate to share with you to help each and every one of you unlock your version of extraordinary. In your life, your work, your business, your family, your future. And that’s what this new chapter is about. The Legacy Letter has now become The Extraordinary Edge. This shift represents how Turas has evolved from sharing my story to helping others live theirs. To unlock their unique version of extraordinary every day, not live to someone else's expectations. Through my flagship True North Identity System, you'll create: SPACE to clear the noise and reconnect with who you are and what really matters to you and your business. POWER for alignment in terms of your voice and vision, your decisions and actions. RESILIENCE to get unstuck and bounce forward through setbacks, to navigate big decisions in life and your business. To thrive, not just survive.
Each month, I’ll share stories, insights and practical tools you can use immediately to maintain momentum every day.

1. How Your Identity Evolves Before Change Shows UpI've learnt real and lasting transformation rarely begins with a plan, it starts with awareness.
Have you often found you evolve long before you announce a change or make a decision? The early signs? You’re restless. Things that once felt right now feel heavy. You crave simplicity or new energy. That’s not failure.. That’s feedback from within. Resilience helps you translate that feedback into direction. Try this: Take five minutes tonight and write down: Circle one from each list. Ask: What would change if I did less of one and more of the other this week? Small shifts in your awareness, small steps. This is how resilience begins.

2. The Small Science of ResilienceNeuroscience shows 95% of what we do each day is habit. So resilience isn’t about pushing harder. It’s about changing what’s automatic. Instead of checking your phone the moment you wake up, take 60 seconds to stretch, sip water, or breathe slowly. You’ll lower cortisol, lift focus, and remind your body: “I’m safe to lead calmly today.” Try this: Set a reminder for one “reset minute” each day. When it goes off, pause and: Roll your shoulders back. Inhale through your nose for four counts, exhale for six. Ask: What can I let go of right now?
Resilience isn’t built in big wins — it’s built in small pauses.

3. A Story from the Field — Clarity Before ConfidenceA business owner I coached once said: “I kept trying to fix my confidence. What I really needed was to find my clarity.”
She began tracking her energy, noticing which tasks excited and expanded her thinking and which drained her. Within weeks, she reshaped her week around what mattered most. Her energy, creativity, and focus returned. That’s resilience in motion: awareness → boundary → energy restored. Try this: For three days, note what drains or lifts you. Highlight your top three “expanders.” That’s your personal Energy Map — a simple way to reset before burnout hits.

4. Weekly Reflection — The Renewal MomentPause for a moment right now. When did you last feel most like you? What were you doing, and who were you with? Write it down. That’s what I call your renewal moment. It's your quiet reminder of what matters most. Try this: Save that note on your phone or sticky it to your workspace. Look at it once a day this week. Every time you do, you’re choosing to lead from who you are, not a facade, not pressure or exhaustion. Just you.

For Leaders & OrganisationsLeadership without identity or resilience doesn't last - it leads to burnout. If you lead people, projects or strategy, this is the moment to pause before the next big push. The most effective leaders I know don’t rush planning, they create space first. That’s where clarity, confidence and great decision-making begin. Resilience is what gives you that space. It’s not about grit. It’s about grounded leadership. When you build resilience into your culture, your teams don’t just respond to change - they grow through it. Through the True North Identity System, we help leaders and organisations align who they are with how they lead, creating workplaces that perform sustainably, not reactively. Reflection to get started: Before you finalise next year’s goals, ask: “Are we planning from pressure — or from purpose?”
If it’s pressure, it’s time to reset. Book a Resilience Reset Call to rebuild the space, clarity, and energy you and your team need before 2026 planning begins. You’ll walk away with practical insights and the next step to embed identity-led leadership and resilience across your organisation.
