warm, sunny start – a soggy dip midweek – and a mixed but mild weekend. This week in Ipswich, we're off to a bright and cheerful start. Monday and Tuesday bring plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures, perfect for getting outdoors or enjoying a relaxed evening walk, with highs around 20 to 21 degrees. By midweek, things turn a little more unsettled. Wednesday sees increasing cloud cover with the risk of some thundery showers bubbling up in the afternoon. It's still mild, but you might want to keep a brolly handy. Thursday looks like the dullest day of the bunch. Drizzly conditions and cooler temperatures will linger, so it's a good day to catch up on indoor plans. Things begin to pick up again on Friday. We’re expecting sunny spells and dry weather, making it a lovely lead-in to the weekend. Saturday and Sunday bring a typical British mix. Expect some light rain and passing showers, particularly on Saturday, but it won’t be a washout — there should still be dry, brighter spells to enjoy. Temperatures stay comfortable in the high teens.

🛍️ Poundland to Close Copdock Mill Interchange Store on May 20
Poundland has confirmed it will be closing its store at the Copdock Mill Interchange in Ipswich, with the final day of trading set for Monday 20 May.
