“Unfair and Exclusionary”: Ipswich Bus Fare Changes Hit Disabled Residents, Low-Income Families, and Key Workers
AControversial changes to Ipswich’s bus fare zones have sparked anger across the community, with disabled residents, low-income families, and key workers among the hardest hit. First Bus has restructured its pricing, meaning passengers living just outside the town boundary — in areas like Kesgrave and Rushmere — now face significantly higher fares for everyday journeys. Ipswich Stun Chelsea with Thrilling 2–2 Draw at Stamford Bridge Ipswich Town pulled off a remarkable result at Stamford Bridge, holding Chelsea to a 2–2 draw in a dramatic Premier League clash. Julio Enciso opened the scoring for Ipswich and later set up Ben Johnson for their second.
Despite Chelsea piling on the pressure, an own goal from Axel Tuanzebe and a late equaliser from Jadon Sancho salvaged a point for the Blues. Ipswich goalkeeper Alex Palmer was the standout, making key saves to keep his side in the game. The result dents Chelsea’s top-four hopes and gives Ipswich a vital boost in their fight to avoid relegation. Read the full story and court details here:
