Bramford Man Fined £660 for Failing to Name Driver After Offence
A man from Bramford has been fined £660, handed six penalty points, and ordered to pay £90 in costs after failing to identify the driver of a vehicle linked to a traffic offence. The request was made under the Road Traffic Act, which requires registered keepers to supply the driver’s details when requested by authorities. Despite repeated chances to respond, the man did not provide the information, leading to his conviction in his absence at Worcester Magistrates’ Court. This case is a reminder that ignoring official notices can lead to serious financial and legal consequences.
