Bury St Edmunds Man Denies Rape Allegation – Trial Set for Later This Year
A 25-year-old man from Bury St Edmunds is set to stand trial after pleading not guilty to a charge of rape relating to an alleged incident in 2022. Daniel Green is accused of raping a woman in February 2022. The case was brought before Ipswich Crown Court, where Green formally denied the charge during a hearing this week. The court heard that the allegation involves a single complainant and that the trial is expected to last around three to four days. Green has been granted unconditional bail while he awaits trial, which is scheduled to take place in November. The case will be closely watched as it proceeds through the legal system, and further details are likely to emerge as the trial approaches.

Man Dies After Car Crash in Lowestoft – Police Appeal for Witnesses
A man in his 30s has died following a serious road collision in Lowestoft. Emergency services were called to Hollingsworth Road around 8:10pm on Saturday, after reports that a vehicle had crashed into two parked cars. Despite efforts from paramedics, the driver sadly died at the scene. Suffolk Police have launched an investigation and are now appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage to help piece together what happened.
