New Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing LSQ Director on the Board of Directors

We are pleased to share an important update on the selection of the new Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing (DHH) LSQ Director on CAV’s Board of Directors. LSQ Stakeholders have selected Darren “Daz” Saunders for the role. We also extend our sincere thanks to David Joseph for his years of service in this role and valuable contribution to CAV.

10th Anniversary Celebration: What You Need to Know

This special evening will bring together community members, partners, stakeholders, and special guests from across Canada, including Vicky Eatrides, CRTC’s Chairperson and CEO, and Wyatt Scott, CAD’s Executive Director. Together we will reflect on the evolution of Canada VRS and its role in supporting accessible communication across signed and spoken languages over the past decade. 

We look forward to celebrating with you in September! 

Accessibility Plan 2026-2027

We recently shared another important milestone this year—CAV’s first Accessibility Plan.  

As a core value in our 2025–2030 Strategic Plan, accessibility guides our efforts across all areas of our work. The Accessibility Plan outlines the barriers identified through consultations and the actions we will take to address them.
