Our Strategic Plan is in Progress
In 2016, we successfully launched Canada VRS, providing a much-needed platform to enhance access to communication to our Deaf and hard-of-hearing community.
In early summer this year, we embarked on an exciting new chapter: developing the organization’s first-ever five-year Strategic Plan.
Our co-designed strategic planning process focuses on gathering insights into customer needs, experiences, and visions for the future of Canada VRS.
This inclusive process involves Deaf, hard-of-hearing, DeafBlind and Indigenous users, stakeholders, video interpretation providers, platform provider (IVéS), Board members, and staff. Together, we’re working to improve VRS for everyone — including Deaf, hard-of-hearing, DeafBlind, and Indigenous callers.
Once finalized, the Strategic Plan will be publicly shared.
