MEN FOR HIS GLORY

These men are faithful servants and growing daily in their walk with Jesus. This was their Christmas celebration but not everyone is in the photo. Many men came right after Christmas to spend the day rebuilding our stage which was unsafe.

YOUTH

Our youth ministry is thriving, both in numbers and spiritual growth, thanks to the dedication of Mary Ann and Javier. They commit two Saturdays each month to mentor the young people, creating a fun and inspiring environment. Their efforts are cultivating future leaders who will uphold faith and community service, demonstrating the transformative power of mentorship.

WOMEN

Our women’s ministry is a nuturing community where women can follow Jesus and find comfort in life's difficult challenges. It provides an environment for deepening faith, sharing experiences, and spiritual growth. Through studying God’s word, prayer meetings, and mentorship, our women know they are not alone. 

TUTORING & BIBLE STORY CLUBS

Mary Ann conducts Story Club at our tutoring centers each week. The children are eager to learn about God, and this semester they have been exploring the life of David. Soon we will have an exciting 2-day training event, in Spanish, for local leaders to adopt this engaging and interactive method of teaching the Bible.

DAILY HOT LUNCH

Our lunch kitchens focus on providing nutritious meals to undernourished children, ensuring they receive a healthy meal every day. We use wholesome ingredients, helping to combat nutritional deficiencies, and giving them a loving atmosphere. This ministry promotes a healthier future and learning environment for our community's children.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH & VBS

In December, while our friends at Club Dust built 8 homes, we organized a community event with an outdoor Vacation Bible School. We were pleased to welcome nearly 100 participants, including both children and adults. Our dedicated youth took the lead in worship and taught the kids. We also provided a nourishing meal and distributed gifts and donated clothing to all who attended. This was one of my favorite events of the year!

MEDICAL CLINICS MONTHLY

The CSU Long Beach Flying Samaritans provide vital services to the community, monthly at our center in Fuentes.

• Volunteer healthcare professionals offer medical services at no charge.

• Essential medications are provided for chronic and acute health issues.

• Clean, gently used clothing is given to those in need.

SPIRIT FILLED WORSHIP AND VERSE BY VERSE BIBLE TEACHING

Our regular services have great attendance on Thursday nights and Sunday mornings. Our vans travel to the villages to pick up the people. Children's ministry is available during all services. Pastor Daniel Anaya and Frank Cataño share the teaching responsibilities, while our worship volunteers do an outstanding job.

14 YEARS AS A CHURCH!!

On January 16th, we celebrated our 14th anniversary as a church! Jose Luis and I founded Grace of Calvary in response to God's calling. I could never have imagined the incredible things God would accomplish through these steps of faith! We are immensely thankful for Pastor Daniel and his wife, Luz, for now taking the lead and continuing to carry the torch.

AGAPE BIBLE INSTITUTE

is led by Frank Cataño and his wife, Mayra, teaching the Word of God book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, in an easy and simple, but profound way, from Genesis to Revelation, the entire counsel of God. It is a 100% biblical-based, non-denominational institution available to all of our congregation at our location.

Praise reports ....

Christmas was amazing with almost 80 kids attending and receiving gifts. Thank you to all who contributed.

Our tutoring clubs (now called Club de Gracia) are growing and providing excellent help to the kids under the leadership of Mary Ann & Vicky. The kids also receive a hot lunch.

The discipleship program is expanding under the leadership of
Frank Cataño and Agape Bible Institute.

The church is steadily growing both in number and trained and committed leaders.

The Anaya family received their USA visas and were able to participate in the North Coast Calvary Chapel Christmas missions fair. They also visited the San Diego Zoo! Let us know if you would like us all to visit your church.

Needs ....

2025 FUNDING NEEDS:

Tutoring Clubs $6,000 for 10 months

Lunch kitchens serving 40 children per day $5,000

Transportation costs & vans to bring people to church $6,000

Mexican Staff $600 per week

Fence & outdoor toilets for Fuentes location $5,000

Prayer requests ...

1.  Continued prayers for Mary Ann’s leadership, wisdom, and personal ministry support.

2. For our Kids Story 2-day training in Spanish at the end of February.

3. For more tutors to serve the kids at our Fuentes location.

4. For ministry teams from the U.S. to come and serve. There are many opportunities such as hosting small events for the children and their families, repairs, community outreach.

5. For the Lord’s continued provision for this growing ministry - especially our tutoring clubs and lunch kitchens.

6. For new ministry partners & churches.

7. For Jose Luis to pass his U.S. Citizenship test (date to be determined).

We are so thankful for you and blessed that you continue to partner with us as we reach this underdeveloped area of Tijuana. It is my joy to continue serving and seeing God raise up the younger generation for His commission.

But thanks be to God, who always leads us in Christ’s triumphal procession and through us spreads the aroma of the knowledge of him in every place. 2 Cor 2:14
