Dear Lakewood Park Families,

What a night. What a gift. What a reminder of God’s faithfulness.

As I look back on Beyond Bash & BBQ, I’m grateful for the opportunity we had to gather as a Lakewood Park family, share a meal, connect with friends, and celebrate what God has done, what He is doing, and where He is calling us next.

Over my years in ministry and education, I’ve often described my calling as serving, suffering, and celebrating with people. What matters so much is that we do those things together. Beyond Bash was a beautiful reminder of the community God has given us here at Lakewood.

Beyond is about so much more than buildings, fields, or a campus. It’s about students and families. It’s about creating spaces where the Gospel can be lived out, relationships can grow, and generations can be impacted for Christ.

Whether you joined us or couldn’t attend, I encourage you to watch the recap video Julie put together highlighting the Beyond campaign.

Beyond takes its inspiration from Ephesians 3:20–21, which reminds us that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power at work within us. That is the hope we carry as we look toward the future.

To everyone who prayed, served, gave, brought a chair, shared a meal, or simply showed up to be part of Beyond Bash, thank you. Your love for Lakewood and your partnership mean so much.

We still have a long way to go, but we move forward with hope, trusting God to provide the funds and resources needed as we seek His direction. I invite you to prayerfully consider how your family can be part of this journey.
