Hi Lakewood Park Family,

As we enter this Easter season, I wanted to take a moment to share a personal reflection with you.

As we walk through Holy Week, we often think about two significant moments—Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday. Palm Sunday is a high moment, but one built on misunderstanding. The people cried “Hosanna,” expecting an earthly king. But Easter Sunday reveals the truth: Jesus came as a sacrificial servant, and through His victory over death, we are given the hope of eternal life.

In between those two moments, however, are parts of the story we should not overlook.

Good Friday reminds us of sacrifice and service. Silent Saturday reminds us what it feels like to wait—to trust God even when we don’t yet see the outcome.

These are not just moments in the story of Easter—they are part of our journey with Christ, and they reflect the values we seek to live out each day at Lakewood Park Christian School.

My encouragement to you this week is simple: as you reflect on Easter with your family, don’t forget the importance of sacrifice, service, and even silence in our walk of faith.
