Hi Lakewood Park Family,

This week, I’m joined by my brother, Pastor James, Dr. Pettit, as we share about an opportunity coming to our area that we believe will be especially meaningful for the men in our community.

At Lakewood Park, we often talk about the importance of strong partnerships between home, school, and church. Today, we want to speak directly to the men in our community.

Men — you don’t have to do this alone.

Whether you’re feeling exhausted, encouraged, overwhelmed, or simply figuring things out as you go, we want to invite you to something meaningful:

Dad Tired Conference

This one-day men’s event is designed to offer honest encouragement, practical wisdom, and gospel-centered hope for the journey of life.

Saturday, April 11 | 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Hosted at Lakewood Park

We’re honored to host Jerrad Lopes, a nationally recognized speaker and the voice behind the Dad Tired podcast. Through biblical teaching, real conversations, and powerful storytelling, this conference creates space for men to come as they are and leave with clarity, purpose, and renewed direction.

At the Dad Tired Conference, men will be invited to:

  • Let go of the pressure to perform and get honest about what’s really going on

  • Experience the freedom that comes from gospel-centered healing

  • Reconnect with God on a deeper and more personal level

  • Learn how to lead their families from a place of wholeness, not hustle

  • Build a life centered on what matters most

  • Strengthen their role as husbands, fathers, and leaders

  • Be reminded, they are not alone in the journey

This is a regional event bringing men together from across Indiana and beyond. It is a powerful opportunity to grow alongside others walking a similar path.

Please note:

  • Registration deadline is Sunday, April 5, 2026

  • Continental breakfast, lunch, and snacks are included with your ticket

We hope you will join us and bring a friend with you!

A quick save the date for one of our favorite Lakewood traditions.

More details coming soon, but we are excited for a fun day together as a school community!

As we head into Spring Break, I want to take a moment to wish all of our families a restful and refreshing time. We hope this break gives you the chance to slow down, enjoy time together, and return recharged for the rest of the school year.
