Hi Lakewood Park Family,

This week, I’m joined by Mrs. Salyer, who teaches art to our students from kindergarten through seventh grade. In addition to serving our students in the classroom, she is also a Lakewood Park parent with children across several grade levels, including a graduating senior, an eighth grader, and a first grader.

In our conversation, Mrs. Salyer shares a little about life at home with a wide range of ages and reflects on something many parents experience. Each child is unique. Parenting is often a learning process, and sometimes the most loving thing we can do is recognize the different strengths, personalities, and needs of our children.

Just like in the art room, life can feel a little messy at times, but when we walk through it with faith and the love of Jesus, something beautiful can come from it.

⛰️ TREK10 Registration

Registration for Trek10 is now open to current LPCS students, and families can reserve their spots for this summer’s camps.

TREK10 is Lakewood Park’s all-in-one summer camp experience, featuring Signature Camp, Specialty Camps, and Sports Camps for students from preschool through 12th grade. It’s a summer full of growth, fun, and lasting memories.

Registration for all other campers will open on March 21.
