Hi Lakewood Park Family,

Today, I am excited to share three brief videos that spotlight some of our senior students. It’s always good for us as a school community to pause and remember that we are working with exceptional young people. It is truly our privilege to build into their lives and walk alongside them during these important years.

I have two main purposes in sharing these videos:

🪩 Senior Night - Friday, February 27th

This is especially timely as we celebrate Senior Night for our boys' basketball team and cheerleading team this Friday. You may already be planning to attend and celebrate these soon-to-be graduates, but if not, I encourage you to adjust your schedule and come cheer them on. I’m personally looking forward to being part of this memorable evening.

The boys' basketball sectional is also coming up March 3–7, so let’s rally behind our defending sectional champs as they pursue another championship!

🏀 A Special Video Project

These videos were the brainchild of our boys' varsity basketball coach, Jared Estep, inspired by the classic ESPN college feature “Jay Bilas Goes 94 Feet With…” Many thanks to Jared, along with our marketing team, who added their creative excellence to bring this project to life.

We hope to replicate this concept for other varsity sports as we continue thinking creatively about how to spotlight our student athletes. More to come!
