Though Thanksgiving is still a couple of weeks away on the calendar, I want to take just a minute in this week’s Head of School Heart Message to express my thankfulness for an amazing Golden Gala event last Friday. Here are the highlights for me…

Nearly 400 people shared in this celebration event! Wow!
Student participation via service as Lead Ambassadors, musical contributions from both vocalists and instrumentalists, and dramatic actors, to identify just a few!
Celebrating Coach Daron White and his son Colton with the Golden Acorn award for their sacrificial bicycle trip across the country!
Hearing from author Bob Goff, who reminded us to “Dream Big” and remain “on our tiptoes” to see what God will do in the next 50 years here at LPCS!
Over $550,000 raised/pledged to help build a track on our campus! Wow!

Truly, this was an amazing time together! I’m already looking forward to next year’s Gala! But in the meantime, I must confess first that I am entering this holyday season with a heart full of gratitude for God’s goodness!
