Hi Lakewood Park Family, This Monday marks the 50th day of our school year, and as we celebrate 50 years of Lakewood Park Christian School, that number feels especially meaningful.

In Scripture, the number 50 represents Jubileeāa season of liberation, restoration, forgiveness, and freedom. It was a time when debts were forgiven, slaves were freed, and land was returned to its original owners. We may not live in that kind of world today, but when I think about those wordsāforgiveness, freedom, and returnāI canāt help but feel a deep sense of hope. Those same themes are being lived out daily in our classrooms, where teachers are helping students understand what hope looks like in practical, Christ-centered ways. As we celebrate our 50th day during our 50th anniversary year, I see a beautiful alignment of Godās faithfulness and His ongoing work in our community.
