June is National Safety Month.
Here's Why CDL Training Matters Now.

June is National Safety Month, and for Alpha Omega Utility Services, safety is more than a reminder. It is the foundation of how people are trained, how crews are protected, and how students prepare for the real demands of the field.

That is exactly why AOUS built its CDL training program at Jackson College's Applied Technology Center.

CDL drivers are needed across utilities, construction, logistics, municipalities, infrastructure, and field operations. Michigan continues to face a growing need for skilled trades professionals, and CDL training creates a clear, practical pathway into meaningful work.

But getting a CDL is not just about learning how to drive.

It is about learning how to inspect a vehicle. How to recognize hazards. How to operate safely around job sites. How to understand compliance. How to think like a professional before ever stepping into the field.

That is what makes this program different.

AOUS instructors are active professionals with real field experience. They bring current industry knowledge into the classroom and behind-the-wheel training. Students are not just learning theory. They are learning what the job actually requires.

And the results speak for themselves.
