Want A Career That Works?

At Mike Rowe Works, we know the real world doesn’t run on a once-a-year deadline. Training programs start and bills show up year-round. As a result, we've decided to expand our application window and give more hardworking men and women the chance to apply when they’re ready and when funding matters most.

This year, you can apply for a scholarship any time between February 23, 2026 until October 31, 2026. It’s a small change that we hope will make a big difference.

Requirements: Be enrolled or plan to enroll in an approved trade program.
Sign the S.W.E.A.T. Pledge.
Submit a video & references.
Provide a transcript & tuition information.

Deadline: October 31, 2026

$10,000 For The Trades!

The 4Front Foundation is proud to support Michigan residents over the age of 17 who are pursuing careers in the skilled trades.

Through our scholarship program, we provide meaningful financial assistance that can be used for tools, training programs, certifications, and collegiate courses. Whether you're just starting out or advancing your skills, our goal is to help remove financial barriers and empower the next generation of trades professionals across Michigan.

Requirements

Open to MI residents 17+ pursuing an apprenticeship, trade degree, or certifications. Funds for tuition, tools, and certs.

How Much?

$10,000 total in scholarships, broken up into (4) $2,500 individual scholarships to kickstart your career.

Deadlines

Opens April 6, 2026. Submissions close by 11:59pm on May 31, 2026.
