When did you start Crossfitting?
I started CrossFit at CrossFit New Bedford in 2013ish, which is where I first met Coach Rob. I took about four years off from CrossFit, training at a conventional gym instead, but eventually Rob encouraged me to give CrossFit another shot. About a year ago, he brought me to CrossFit Dartmouth. What do you like most about CFD?
The community, hands down. Everyone is supportive, motivating, and it truly feels like a second family. And Of course, Coach Rob What was your 1st CrossFit workout?
Honestly, I don’t remember the exact workout—but I do remember thinking, “What did I get myself into?” In what ways has Crossfit changed your life?
It helped me rebuild strength and confidence after surgeries, pushed me mentally, and reminded me what my body is capable of.

Beth Pierce. My occupation is in construction (house remodeling). 2 I love going to Home Depot lol (it's my place to de-stress 3. There are warm-up exercises I didn't know in English, and I had to watch my teammates to learn them. (Sorry, coaches that's a lot of words to write down.) 4. I started in 2018, but I haven't been consistent from 2021 until now. 5. They made me feel like family, and I appreciated the effort the coaches made to help me understand them (because my English is basic). 6. My introduction to CrossFit was with FRAN, with a weight of 75 lbs and strict pull-ups 7. Wow! In many ways, in unimaginable ways, both physically and mentally. And of course, with the hand of God 8. Snatch, ring muscle up, and hand stand push ups 9. I don’t like deadlift, and run 10. Listen to your coaches, progress through movements that are difficult for you, and stretch after every workout. I grew up on Air Force bases around the world, spending 9 years in Spain, then Colorado, Arizona, and Michigan before settling in Somerset, MA. When did you start Crossfitting? November of 2023
What do you like most about CFD?
The community, coaches, how welcoming everyone has been and the challenge in learning new movements. I had belonged to a fitness gym for a number of years doing circuit training and wanted to try something different and more challenging. Family members suggested CrossFit so here I am.

What was your 1st CrossFit workout?
I believe it was thrusters or some overhead movement. In what ways has CrossFit changed your life? That you can start something new at any age. I’m doing things I never expected and as hard as it is, the small gains are so rewarding. It’s a confidence builder for sure. The encouragement and comradery of the members and coaches is also so refreshing.
