At 3 years old with Mom and Dad and officially in CrossFit kids in 2024 What do you like most about CFD?

IDK, probably burpees In what ways has Crossfit changed your life?

Any advice you would give to the newbies?
Don't go heavy if you can't master the form. Try your best and always be honest.

Rachel Dunham. My occupation is in construction (house remodeling). 2 I love going to Home Depot lol (it's my place to de-stress 3. There are warm-up exercises I didn't know in English, and I had to watch my teammates to learn them. (Sorry, coaches that's a lot of words to write down.) 4. I started in 2018, but I haven't been consistent from 2021 until now. 5. They made me feel like family, and I appreciated the effort the coaches made to help me understand them (because my English is basic). 6. My introduction to CrossFit was with FRAN, with a weight of 75 lbs and strict pull-ups 7. Wow! In many ways, in unimaginable ways, both physically and mentally. And of course, with the hand of God 8. Snatch, ring muscle up, and hand stand push ups 9. I don’t like deadlift, and run 10. Listen to your coaches, progress through movements that are difficult for you, and stretch after every workout. I have had lots of different roles, which have changed over the years, but what I love most is working with and coaching women business owners to help them see and express their own beauty through their brands. I also own and operate Feminine Sacred, a spiritual-inspired product company that offers prints, cards, crystals, and gift sets that help people connect to energy, God, the Universe, and each other. (I know, kinda woo-woo).
Hobbies/Interests?
I love to bake, put together my own floral arrangements, and make things look pretty. I’m into self improvement and working to make myself a better human for the people I love and interact with. I love a good dark roast, finding new bakeries or coffee shops, exploring new places with Derek, and great food. I am a mamma of four and bonus mom to one, so most of the past 19 years have been spent focused on family – and that’s where I feel most at peace. 
Tell CFD something we don't know about you.
I was never an athlete, but I always wanted to be. I grew up as a dancer (ballerina), but was never good at sports. In fifth grade I got the superlative “Most Likely To Succeed” and I was so upset because all I wanted to be was “Most Athletic.”

What was your 1st CrossFit workout?
My first workout was the Open 20.2!! They did them in October that year. It was an AMRAP 20: 4 DB Thrusters (50s/35s), 6 T2B, 24 DU. I scaled with 20#, knee raises, and singles. I still dislike DUs, LOL. In what ways has CrossFit changed your life? So many! I have learned so much about myself and my resilience through the physical challenges that CrossFit presents. I was a busy mom with a thriving business when I first started crossfit, and I just needed an outlet and a place to “not think”. I used to use the gym to sort of turn everything else off. But as I got stronger, it turned into something so much greater. I have built confidence, built friendships, built a healthier body and mind. I have found strength, found love, and found myself. I have learned patience, grace, and how to work WITH my body instead of against it. Through CrossFit I’ve been able to set an example for my kids and inspire friends and family to do the same.

I love hang squat cleans, devil’s presses, and handstand walks!

Any advice you would give to the newbies?
Just keep showing up. Sometimes it can feel like results take FOREVER… and progress sometimes feels very slow. There will be tough days, days you don’t want to do it. Do it anyway. Just like in life, the beauty is found in the journey, and it might not look how you thought it would. Be patient, stay committed.
