Biblical Marriage

By Grace Barkwell

Biblical marriage requires commitment, self-control, selfless love; meeting the needs of the spouse by knowing their felt needs. Do not assume, communicate with one another. A great book to read together"(besides the Holy Bible) is "The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman. Why? Because a Biblical Marriage cannot be continued and sustained on feelings alone (feelings change from circumstance to circumstance), knowledge has to happen. Getting to know your spouse, know their ideocynrocies and how they think. This book will help you discover their felt needs as you read it and communication with one another. A Biblical Marriage relationship is not a 50-50 deal; it is each giving 100% to the health of the relationship in communication and putting the other person's needs above one's own needs.

Sexual health in a loving God-centered Biblical marriage is one of the main pillars of health and leads to longevity. A quote from a 2020 study in medical literature from PubMed I.D. B2665214 says: "Överall participants with higher sexual activity frequency were at a low risk of all causes of death in a dose-response manner." My former Pastor suggested no less than 3 times a week.

The most important sex organ is between your ears, said the late Dr. Ruth Westheimer. The large part of the brain containing the emotional, cognitive and stress management areas need to be healthy and working correctly.Stress, toxins, malnutrition and physical inactivity affects the brain negatively and can all take away from optimum sex.

What affects the brain positively?

Reading God's Word out loud for 20 minutes rewires various pathways in your brain.

Loneliness falls by 30%

Anger problems fall by 32%

Grudges in relationships fall by 40%

Alcoholism falls by 57%

Feelings of Spiritual Stagnation falls by 60%

Contact with porn falls by 61%

Praying elicits a relaxation response which lowers blood pressure. Prayer enhances one's hopes and expectations and therefore can have a positive impact on your health. Prayer brings a loving alignment with God. Prayer of thanksgiving brings feelings of compassion, forgiveness and hope which are associated with healing and wellness. Prayer uplifts us, and calms us. Prayer inhibits the release of cortisol in the brain to maintain steady levels. Prayer also positively rewires the brain. This was proven scientifically by radiologist Andrew Newberg starting in the year 2000. A formula for prayer is ACTS; Adoration of God, Confession of your transgressions or wrongdoings, Thanksgiving for God's creation and the blessings that you experience,

Supplication which is prayer for the needs of others and yourself.

The reishi mushroom is a nitrate donor which helps the body make nitrate oxide from nitrates which reduces the inflammation and strengthens the immune system thus helping with sexual health and performance sas it is a major modulator by multiple mechanisms.

What affects the brain negatively?

Toxins in the body can disrupt sexual function. If the hormones aren't right there is going to be sexual dysfunction. If the nervous system isn't right there is going to be sexual dysfunction. If the vascular system isn't right there is going to be sexual dysfunction. My health professional functional medicine doctor says that we are digging our graves with our teeth because we are not getting the proper nutrition. He also says that if God made it then it is OK and if man made it then stay away. The brain is the most nutrient dependent, energy dependent, stress vulnerable toxin vulnerable system. Chronic inflammation disrupts the brain and disrupts the vascular system. The immune system also needs to be strong. Insulin resistance and obesity can also steal sexual function.

How do we get this bitter herb into our bodies?

We put this miraculous King of Herbs into tea and coffee and even hot cocoa as we often consume it multiple times a day. When people want to just start their recovery from sexual dysfunction we have capsules that they can take two of every waking hour and then reduce the dosage as they are feeling better.

Good sexual function is a pillar of health and essential in a healthy Biblical Marriage. It produces dopamine which is a neurotransmitter made in your brain. It plays a role as a “reward center” and in many body functions, including memory, movement, motivation, mood, attention and more and Oxytocin which is a chemical messenger in the brain that has an important role in many human behaviors and social interactions12. The effects of oxytocin on the brain include1342:

➡️ Sexual arousal

➡️ Recognition

➡️ Trust

➡️ Romantic attachment

➡️ Parent-infant bonding

➡️ Regulation of emotional responses

➡️ Prosocial behaviors, including trust, empathy, gazing, positive memories, processing of bonding cues, and positive communication.

Did you know that people's bodies also respond extremely well to our Supreme coffee because of the extra ginseng and eurycoma longifolia in it. It also contains a creamer that adds a hint of sweetness and creamy flavor. It is a little woodsy on the palate and I add a teaspoon of real Maple Syrup that has been boiled down from the sap of the Sugar Maple trees in Canada and call it the Virile Canadian. You can check out PubMed and put "ginseng & sexual function" in the search bar. It will bring up 66 articles as it is a natural aphrodisiac.  It has saved marriages in the past so I know that it can do it in the future.
