Hello, {{contact.first_name}}.

We are in the heart of Winter and have some exciting activities and information to share!

Thanks to your generous donations to our Winter grooming fund, we have been able to expand our fat biking network. To help you know where to ride, we have put together a Winter Fat Biking Guide!

Want a guided tour?

Our Spinnin' Sugar Women's group ride will meet on Monday, February 16 at 10 AM at the Stratton Brook Trailhead to explore the single track and Winter-only trails off the Narrow Gauge Pathway. This will be a social ride of about 8 miles over gentle terrain. Please bring a bike with 3.7+ inch tires and a helmet.

Our Tuesday Night Ride Crew is offering a pop-up co-ed ride on Tuesday, February 17 at 5 PM at the Outdoor Center. This ride will be an intermediate to advanced ride on the groomed single track trails. A fat bike, helmet and lights are required.

Mark your calendars for March 7!

The Carrabassett Valley Trails Mountain Bike Trail Development Plan is set to publish on March 4. This plan has been in the works for more than a year as rider and community input has been collected and project options considered. It seeks to build on the unique characteristics of our trail network that make the Carrabassett Valley region riding experience so special.

The Carrabassett Valley Trails Committee (CVTC) will hold a public meeting on Saturday, March 7 from 4:30-6:30 PM at the Outdoor Center. We welcome you to attend this informal gathering to hear more about the plan, interact with CVTC members, socialize, and talk all things bike. Light refreshments will be served.

As always, I love to hear from you and ride with you! Feel free to contact me directly by responding to this email.

Best,

Val
