ALL STAR CHEER UPDATE

EXCITING NEWS - NEW UNIFORM!

Hi Cheer Families

Exciting news! Our team has worked super hard on bringing to life a new incredible Comp Cheer uniform for our athletes and cannot wait to hit the mat in them this year!

The new uniform is the same across teams and as this is a brand new uniform, ALL athletes will be required to purchase the new uniform. All sizing for these uniforms will be done in-house by our Cheer Coaches for ease of ordering.

Competition Uniforms will be $350 per athlete. This uniform fee will be added automatically to your dance account in Week 5 and included in your Direct Debit on Thursday 29th May 2025. Uniforms will be distributed at a later date upon arrival, prior to the first competition.

A reminder all athletes will require appropriate white cheer shoes for the competition. Information with links to purchase for shoes can be found in the Comp Cheer Handbook here. Please note that shoes do not have to be either of the selections in the handbook these are just a recommendation. We are aware that some sizes are out of stock of the Varsity Rise, so an alternative shoe could be this one HERE.

UPCOMING COMP REMINDER

A reminder the first competition for our Teams is DCE STATES on July 27th/28th at Blacktown. We will communicate further information in regards to this competition including the exact dates and times once we receive this from the Comp organisers later this term.

COMP CHEER REHEARSALS

With the first Competition for the year at the end of Week 1 of Term 3, Mid Year will be a great rehearsal for our teams. It will be imperative for the safety, confidence and success of our teams that all students ensure they are in class in the lead up to the end of Term 2 and the first week back of Term 3. Teams CANNOT rehearse properly or safely without all members present.

We are currently confirming details regarding a possible extra rehearsal workshop to ensure stunt safety in routines closer to the competition and will have further information regarding the details of this in the near future.

COMP CHEER LEVY BALANCE REMINDER

A reminder the balance of the Comp Cheer Levy is payable in Week 10 of Term 2. This instalment is $150 and will be added automatically to your direct debit and debited on Thursday 3rd July 2025.

COMP CHEER INFO SITE

This year we will have a dedicated info site for our Comp Cheer Teams where you can always reference for information in regards to upcoming Competitions, email notes that have been sent out etc. All housed in the one spot it's there to make your life easier! A QR code to this site will be included when uniforms are distributed to athletes, you might like to keep it handy for future reference.

We are so excited for everything to come for these teams. They are working so well in classes and we are pumped to kick off the competition season!
