Hi {{contact.first_name}},
I’ve been back in the gym this week.
My back is my weakest link. It doesn’t take much to tweak it and I end up hobbling toward the nearest chair. I hate working the weak parts of my body. Legs? I could do all day. But upper body? It’s uncomfortable. I don’t like it.
And still… here I am.
Because I know strength matters.
I know I can influence my health, my energy, and my sense of personal power. And the truth is, this isn’t really about the gym. It’s about becoming the next version of myself.
For too long, I held back. I played small. I tried not to take up too much space; all rooted in people-pleasing and old survival strategies that once kept me safe.
Weight training has become part of unlearning that. It’s about reclaiming presence. Growing power, not just in my body, but in my mindset.
Progress isn’t linear. Most days, it’s two steps forward, one step back. But for me, winning is just showing up. And showing up is the hard part.
I do it anyway. Even when it’s uncomfortable. Even when progress feels slow. Because I’m not competing with anyone else. I’m just asking myself:
💭 Can I be one day stronger than yesterday?
That’s a question I come back to often and one I offer to many of my clients, too. The work they’re doing often mirrors this process:
Creating a vision for their strongest life.
Sitting with the discomfort of saying what they really want.
Resisting the urge to buffer, distract, or shrink back.
Choosing to move forward, one aligned step at a time.
If you’re in that space too; trying to grow, stretch, and step into what’s next, I want you to know:
You don’t have to be perfect.
You just have to keep showing up.
How about you?
💭 What would it look like for you to be one day stronger than you were yesterday?
I’m cheering you on every step of the way!
