I just got back from an incredible mastermind in San Diego. Here’s what I walked away with — and why it matters for your next chapter.

Hey friend,

I just spent four days in San Diego with 40 brilliant, brave, and ambitious humans — business owners, coaches, thought leaders — all gathered with one purpose: growth.

We met in a stunning location perched on a hillside, sunshine pouring in as we wrestled with our questions, our ideas, and most importantly, our next-level selves.

I left with pages of notes — but more than that, I left changed.
Not because someone gave me a new to-do list.
But because I remembered some things that are easy to forget.

And I wanted to pass them along to you.

1. You are your best investment.

Most people live the same 6 months on repeat and call it a year.
If nothing changes… nothing changes.

But what if you decided to invest in your own evolution — even just 5% more?
A coach, a program, a book, a trip, a mentor, a mastermind, a new circle.

Where are you betting on yourself right now?
And if the answer is “nowhere”… how’s that working for you?

2. The rooms you walk into will change you.

We become like the people we hang around. Period.

Want a better marriage?
Hang out with people who love their spouse and still flirt 20 years in.

Want to earn more money?
Hang out with folks who talk about value, sufficiency, and abundance — not just paychecks.

Want to be stronger in your body or mindset?
Get around people who lift heavy, think deeply, and cheer each other on.

The right room doesn’t just inspire you.
It calls you higher.

3. Success is a team sport.

This is Pillar 4 of the 6 Pillars I teach: Build Your Team.
Whether you’re chasing impact, joy, income, or all three — you can’t do it alone.

The most transformative opportunities of my life have always come through relationships.

So ask yourself:
Who’s on your team?
Who sees your brilliance?
Who challenges your comfort zone?
Who believes in the version of you you're still becoming?

You don’t need everyone.
But you do need the right few.

4. Discomfort is not the enemy. It’s the invitation.

We’re told that if something’s hard or awkward, it must be wrong.
Not true.

Discomfort is just the price of admission to your next level.

Whether you’re building strength, launching something new, or having the hard conversation…
You will feel discomfort. And you’ll also feel more alive than you have in a long time.

Let’s normalize that.
Let’s welcome it.
You’re not broken — you’re growing.

5. Keep going. You’re closer than you think.

Wherever you are in your journey right now —
Burnt out.
Lit up.
Confused.
Committed.

This is your reminder:
You’re allowed to rest. But don’t quit.
You have more in you than you know.
Self-pity is a trap. Stay in the game.

Your next chapter is being written right now —
And you’re the one holding the pen.

Final Thought:

This week in San Diego reminded me of what I already know:
That growth is always possible.
That community is always available.
And that the most powerful transformations come when we stop doing it alone.

Whether we’ve worked together before or you’re just reading along quietly, I’m so glad you’re here.

Let’s keep growing — and going — together.

With you,
