Q: WHY THE YARD GYM?

The Yard Gym is a boutique strength and conditioning space built for all fitness levels and age groups, from beginners to seasoned athletes.

We’re modern, community-driven, and proudly lifestyle-focused.

Our goal is to deliver world-class group training in an inspiring space that supports both physical and mental wellbeing.

With 35+ AM and PM sessions running from Monday to Sunday, our programming is designed to move with your schedule and evolve with your goals.

Every session is structured around key training pillars, strength, power, endurance, conditioning, and cardio, delivered by expert coaches and backed by a strong, supportive community.

Q: HOW DO THE SESSIONS RUN?

At The Yard Gym, we run two signature sessions - RIG and TURF - side by side, on the same timer, during every scheduled training block.

This setup creates a unified atmosphere, shared energy, and a consistent rhythm across the gym, no matter which zone you choose.

RIG focuses on strength, functional lifting, and resistance training.

TURF delivers high-energy conditioning, built around athletic movement, endurance, and speed.

The best part? The two programs are designed to complement each other across the training week. Whether you're building strength, improving your engine, or working toward a balanced routine, the programming helps you get the most out of your training.

Each day, you choose where you train - RIG or TURF - based on your goals, your body, or just your mood.

Q: HOW LONG DO THE SESSIONS RUN FOR?

Each session runs for 50 minutes, and includes: A structured warm-up, 2 to 3 working components, with built-in rest and clear coaching explanations. Our Saturday sessions run for an hour and feature various formats, bringing together the best of strength, conditioning, and teamwork.

Sessions are designed to be efficient, effective, and accessible, giving you a complete training experience from start to finish.

Q: WHAT TRAINING PRINCIPLES DOES THE YARD GYM FOLLOW IN ITS PROGRAMMING?

The Yard training follows the 4 most basic principles when it comes to programming and training

  • Progression

  • Overload

  • Specificity

  • Individualisation

To achieve all these principles, we have created a system that allows our clients to have more options, but more importantly, apply the correct amount of stress upon the body to achieve a goal. We do this while also having a great time.

Q: WHAT ARE SOME OF THE AMENITIES ON OFFER?

We offer a range of high-quality amenities to support your training experience, including clean and modern showers, complimentary towels, fresh fruit after your session, ice lemon water, plus a few extra touches to make your time at The Yard as seamless and enjoyable as possible.

Q: WHAT ARE THE LOCK IN CONTRACT TERMS?

Our memberships run on an auto-renewing cycle - e.g. {{ custom_values.contract_term }} weeks.

You can choose to let your contract expire at the end of the cycle, as long as you give at least 7 working days notice before it renews into a new term.

There are no sign-up fees or cancellation costs, unless you choose to cancel during your contract period, in which case you’ll need to pay out the remaining weeks of your current term.
