Tools from OSHA

Apps, eTools, eMatrix, Expert Advisors and v-Tools

OSHA has resources available to help with training and education in a variety of online formats.

Apps or applications are a type of software created to perform a specific function. We have worked with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) to create apps for topics such as heat safety and a small business checklist.

eTools and the eMatrix are interactive, web-based training tools on occupational safety and health topics. They are highly illustrated and utilize graphical menus. Some use expert system modules, which enable the user to answer questions and receive advice on how OSHA regulations apply to their worksite.

Expert advisors answer common questions and are training tools for employers, workers and others interested in workplace safety and health.

v-Tools are video training tools. Other training videos and training and reference materials are also available.
