If you’ve been reading this newsletter for a while, you might notice something a little different going forward. For the past few years, I’ve used this space to share quotes, articles, and ideas that caught my attention - things I thought were worth passing along. And based on your responses (and the open rates), I know many of you have found it valuable.
But recently, I realized something. I was curating a lot of great thinking and not sharing enough of my own.
So I’m making some changes. Instead of one monthly newsletter, you’ll now hear from me twice a month with two distinct themes:
The first Monday of every month I'll talk about Mindset Malware, and break down the subtle, often invisible beliefs that hold smart, capable leaders back, and how to replace them with empowering reframes.
The third Monday of the month will be Leadership in the Wild, where I’ll share what I’m noticing in the world - ideas, trends, conversations - and what I think most people are missing about them
Some things won’t change. This will still be real, practical, and grounded in what actually works. And I'll still share the impactful articles I've found recently, since so many of you have told me how much you appreciate them. But going forward, you’ll get more perspective, more pattern recognition, and more of how I think about leadership in real time.
Because at the end of the day, the most valuable thing I can offer isn’t what I read. It’s how I see.
And I want to hear from you - if something resonates, please let me know. And if there's a topic you want me to address, let me know that as well. You can reach me at molly@vellamo-leadership.com.
